JOIN THE TEAM FOR THE WINTER SEASON 2024-2025

We are looking for experienced customer service orientated drivers for the next winter season to work in the French Alps. Our reputation as an excellent transfer company started in Val Thorens and the Belleville Valley, and we now cover a vast area, from Espace Killy (Tignes, Val D’Isere), Paradiski (La Plagne, Les Arcs), the world famous 3 Valleys and many other resorts. If clients want to be taken to Austria, Italy or Switzerland we will be happy to drive them.

The role of a transfer driver is challenging with, clients arriving at airports on the last flights, and those at the end of their holiday needing to catch first flights out. We have vehicles running throughout the day and night and you will be given a variety of shifts to cover these requirements. Weekends are very busy and require you to be highly motivated and focussed to continue our highly regarded service levels. The Management team encourage self-sufficiency and we require drivers to control the numerous and varied situations of winter transfers, however there is always support a phone call away.

The season runs from the 1st of December 2024 until the end of April 2025. This will include preseason training, route familiarisation and resort knowledge. We have opportunities for full time work and potentially weekend specific or part time roles.

We expect the very best from all our drivers throughout the season. Essential elements include punctuality, cleanliness, excellent customer service skills, positivity and a willingness to contribute to the high standards of the Cool Runnings Team

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Drivers must have held a full clean U.K/ E.U driving licence for at least 3 years
• 23 years old and over.
• Holder of an EU passport OR Carte de Sejour OR work permit
• Drivers must also hold a Cat D1 licence
  AND/OR
• Driver CPC or Rospa driving qualification
  AND/OR 
• Cat B licence with 2 years’ experience in professional driving (CAT B licence you will need to provide proof of at least 2 years professional driving experience, i.e. a letter from a previous employer)
  AND/OR
• Drivers who already hold Sefri number and have experience in the transfer life
  AND/OR
• Taxi/private hire licence
• • Previous experience in driving a minibus or similar sized vehicle, with alpine mountain driving experience and snow driving experience an added advantage.
