The best way to get from Grenoble Airport to Val Thorens
Part of the infamous 3-Valleys ski area, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. With 600km of pistes, a highest lift at 3230m and its great snow record and well linked lift system the 3-Valleys is a must visit destination for any ski and snowboard enthusiast.
Val Thorens itself is a purpose built resort in the Belleville valley situated above the resorts of Les Menuires and St Martin De Belleville, its high altitude guarantees a longer season than many places.
Grenoble Airport (GNB) also known as Grenoble Isere is also an International Airport.
Ski transfer from Grenoble to the 3 Valleys resorts, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, Meribel and Courchevel will be approximately 2h45, but for peak days ie Saturdays could be more and week-days could be less. This route normally takes you through Grenoble city but there are many different route options to this transfer to the 3 Valleys. Grenoble Airport offers a small array of shops, restaurants and bars for your leisure.
